Immerse Education was founded in 2012 with a mission to provide students from across the world with unparalleled academic experiences. Our Head Office team is made up of enthusiastic educators whose aim it is to make sure every Immerse student leaves our programme with a unique look at what education can and should be!

Sean Stevens, Founder and Managing Director

Sean Stevens is the Founder and Managing Director of Immerse Education. Having graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Sean set about on a mission to create outstanding educational experiences for students from around the world. He is passionate about how new methods of education and technology have the capacity to influence the development of students. At its core, education is about unleashing human potential, and Sean is on a mission to positive impact as many young futures as possible.

Sarah Leonard, Operations Director

Sarah Leonard is the Operations Director at Immerse Education. Since graduating from Oxford University with a degree in Classics, Sarah has worked in education for over four years and in three different continents. From working in a private girls’ school in Sydney, Australia to being a high school tutor in Warsaw to creating and launching B2B conferences in Kuala Lumpur, Sarah is passionate about education in all its different forms.

Kirsty McLaren, Student & Parent Liaison Officer

Kirsty is the Student & Parent Liaison Officer of Immerse Education. Kirsty studied History at the University of Exeter before working in boarding schools in the south east of England. Kirsty loves travelling and trying new food – her favourite place to eat in Cambridge is Aromi.

Sabrina Brooks, Event Coordinator

Sabrina in the Events Coordinator at Immerse Education. Sabrina graduated from Bristol University, where she received a a BSc in Psychology. Before joining Immerse, Sabrina was part of the Duchess of York’s office, organising private and charity events for the Duchess and other members of the Royal Family. She also led the operations and events for a global recruitment company.

Sabrina has experience teaching English to children in India, and supporting physically and mentally handicapped adults at a residential course in Northamptonshire. This coupled with her background in event logistics and marketing means she is not only passionate about education but has a keen eye for detail.
